Come and join us in Shinnyo-en Singapore on 3 June to participate in this year’s Hawaii Lantern Floating.
This ceremony has its origins in the ancient custom of floating lanterns on bodies of water to console those who have passed away. Held on United States Memorial Day, the Hawaii Lantern Floating creates an inclusive space where religious, cultural, and linguistic differences are transcended as people from diverse backgrounds pray to remember departed loved ones and others, for peace in the world, and to reflect upon how to make that peace a reality.
Date: 03/06/2018 to 30/06/2018
