Shinnyo-en Hawaii Lantern Floating ceremony is held to extend spiritual consolation to all beings, including our ancestors, the victims of war and natural disasters. The names of the departed will be written on lanterns that will be lit and set afloat at Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu.
