Breaking Fast at Ba’alwie Mosque

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is observed by Muslims around the world as they abstain from food and drinks from sunrise to sunset. Muslims break fast with a meal called iftar after sunset. Shinnyo-en Singapore members had the privilege of joining Ba’alwie Mosque at one of its nightly iftar sessions. Shinnyo-en members had the pleasure of meeting Dr Maliki Osman, Minister of State for National Development and Defence at Ba’alwie Mosque.
